Conversations From Your Spiritual Core

Online via Zoom

Conversations about challenging issues require us to see others at a personal, innately spiritual level.  This is the essential first step on the path into a tough conversation and, like a spiral, one we need to return to repeatedly.  So how do we do this? Take the first step with "Conversations from Your Spiritual Core."  This interactive online session can help participants prepare for conversations on challenging current issues.  We'll connect to our spiritual core through reflection, storytelling, and deep listening.  In a facilitated breakout room, you will reflect on a time when you drew upon the teachings of your wisdom tradition–religious, philosophical or ethical–to navigate a challenging conversation with another person on a current issue.  What gave you confidence in that moment?  What helped to shift the conversation from an impasse to a way forward? A few volunteers in each room will share their stories, while the other breakout room participants will be given the opportunity to practice specific listening skills to identify feelings, values and the impact of the stories on the speakers and listeners. Note:  This online interactive event will not be recorded.  Participation is limited to 35 participants, so please register ASAP if you plan to attend.   […]

Conversations From Your Spiritual Core

Online via Zoom

We are currently living through some tough times. As every day passes with more suffering, we pay tribute to those whose lives were lost, and honor those who have worked so faithfully to create paths of peace in our conversations with one another. Please join The Guibord Center for "Conversations From Your Spiritual Core, "-- an event to help people have better conversations about charged social and political issues. We strive to make each person, who seeks change, is treated with respect and comforted. The situation is constantly growing, which has become part of our contribution to the growing bridge-building movement in the United States. If you're new to us or missed it the last time, here's your chance to participate.  If you participated in a previous "Conversations" event, join us again and share this invitation with your circles! Note:  This online interactive event will not be recorded.  Participation is limited to 35 participants, so please register ASAP if you plan to attend.   REGISTRATION LIMITED TO 35 PARTICIPANTS Learn More About Conversations Here
