Lent is a season of contemplative practice for Christians around the world. It is a time to reflect on the sacredness of the body and gratitude for new life in Jesus’ gift of sacrificial love. In 2021, Lent began in the midst of a worldwide surge in the COVID-19 pandemic.

We have been forced to accept the awesome mystery and painful fragility of our bodies.  Through it all, we have been confronting an eternal question: What are we willing to do for our own well-being and that of others?
