Animal Defenders International

For more than three decades, Jan Creamer and Tim Phillips have been at the forefront of global efforts to protect animals from cruelty and exploitation.

Through their leadership, Animal Defenders International (ADI) has grown into one of the world’s most impactful animal welfare organizations, with a presence in the United States, United Kingdom, and Colombia. Their work combines undercover investigations, public education, and strategic advocacy to expose the realities of animals used in entertainment, research, and fashion industries.

ADI is also known for achieving lasting legislative change and carrying out complex rescue operations around the world. Among its most remarkable initiatives is the operation of a wildlife sanctuary in South Africa, where lions, tigers, and other animals rescued from circuses are given the opportunity to live in safety and dignity.
