This conversation in our Take Heart Now series features endawnis Spears (Diné/Ojibwe/Chickasaw/Choctaw), Co-Director of the Upstander Academy and a founding member of the Akomawt Educational Initiative, an Indigenous education and interpretive consultancy for museums. She is the Practitioner in Residence for Tribal Engagement in the Office of Community Engagement at Brown University.
Each Monday through the end of the year, The Guibord Center’s “Take Heart Now” series brings you inspirational and experiential presentations from notable leaders in our community. Each session includes a brief introduction, a 30-35 minute presentation including a centering experience, and about 10 minutes of questions based on discussion in the chat.
