Spiritual Tools for Centering and Compassion

This conversation in our Take Heart Now series features Celina Alvarez, Executive Director of Housing Works, which is recognized as one of Los Angeles’ most innovative and effective homeless services providers. The Guibord Center is honored to have partnered with Housing Works with a focus on recognizing the spiritual dignity of all parties in these efforts. Housing Works has also joined in our Take Heart Project in giving out hundreds of small carved hearts to many in their programs.

Each Monday through the end of the year, The Guibord Center’s “Take Heart Now” series brings you inspirational and experiential presentations from notable leaders in our community. Each session includes a brief introduction, a 30-35 minute presentation including a centering experience, and about 10 minutes of questions based on discussion in the chat.
