Meet The Guibord Center Staff
Lisa develops The Guibord Center’s programs for children, youth and young adults of many faith traditions. She forms partnerships with schools to increase religious and interfaith literacy, and promote open discourse about religion and spirituality as an aspect of identity by bringing speakers for classes and parent groups, and working with teachers to create special events and customized curriculum for elementary and secondary students. Lisa facilitates Faith At The Table, the Center’s dinner and dialogue program for young adults (ages 18 through mid 30s) with regular gatherings at houses of worship/celebration throughout the greater LA area to connect with current and emerging local leaders, and explore faith-based perspectives on a wide variety of issues.
Prior to joining The Guibord Center full-time, Lisa represented the Synod of Southern California and Hawaii on the Advisory Council of The Guibord Center and The Christian- Muslim Consultative Group. She is an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) and serves as a Family Ministry consultant to Northland Village Church.
