Listen to faith leaders’ stories about how their spiritual values ground them and share your own stories of resilience.
The Guibord Center and IslamiCity, a global Muslim e-community, are bringing together people with rich spiritual backgrounds and diverse perspectives for online storytelling and guided conversation. You’ll hear inspiring stories from faith leaders from different traditions about how their spiritual values ground them in times of uncertainty. You’ll get to share your own stories of resilience in a small group setting. We’ll also have a conversation that highlights the wisdom we find, and we’ll reflect on how to apply that wisdom in our own lives.
Our storytellers for this event will be:
Tasneem Noor – NewGround: A Muslim-Jewish Partnership for Change
Tahil Sharma – United Religions Initiative
Rabbi Neil Comess-Daniels – Temple Beth Shir Shalom
Rev. Kathy Cooper Ledesma – Hollywood United Methodist Church
Participation will be limited to the first 100 people that register.
Note: After you register for this event, we will email you the exact link you can use to join us.
Please note: The keynote storytellers will be recorded, but we will not be recording the stories you share in your small groups/breakout sessions, so feel free to share your own stories related to this topic straight from your heart!
