How To Be An Interfaith Ally

The recent shootings at two mosques in New Zealand, as well as similar tragedies at a Pittsburgh synagogue and other places of worship, have left many people with questions:

  • What are some of the underlying similarities and crucial differences in these tragedies?
  • How do I respond to friends and colleagues who are feeling afraid, angry, or hopeless about violence inflicted on their places of worship and communities?
  • What can I do to increase solidarity in my circles and be a good interfaith ally in these hard times?

Join us for a homemade vegan lunch, deep conversation and some skill-building to become a better interfaith ally. We welcome all people ages 18 and up from all faith and philosophical traditions.

This event is organized by The Guibord Center – Religion Inside Out and hosted by our partners at Ananda Los Angeles.  It is free and open to the public.  Please register in advance so we can provide sufficient food and seating. SEATING IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 40 GUESTS WHO REGISTER. Once we reach capacity you may contact Lisa to request to be added to the waiting list.  Questions?  Contact Lisa Patriquin, Program Director for Youth and Young Adults, at  or 508-776-7812 (calls only–no texts)
