The Take Heart Project began as a powerful realization that each day, we encounter emotional challenges that can fill us with anger, resentment, fear, and pain, steering us away from trusting our own hearts and our innate sense of right and wrong.

At The Guibord Center, we embarked on a mission to help individuals uncover and embrace the part of themselves that is connected to something greater and inherently good, fostering a sense of unity that benefits us all.

I pondered how we could facilitate a deeper connection to our hearts, encouraging appreciation for our own kindness and the kindness of others. In that moment, inspiration struck; we would offer each person a beautifully crafted heart made from semi-precious stones—a tangible reminder of their own heart, small enough to carry, allowing them to reconnect with the wonder and beauty that resides within. As they feel its weight in their hand and see the stone gleam in the light, they might rediscover the spirituality that resonates from childhood.

In light of the hate speech and violence that surround us, it is clear that we must take action to counter these negative forces. Embracing our hearts alone is not enough; we must also provide a pathway for healing from the harshness of our environment. To that end, we invite individuals to share hearts with others, for true centeredness comes from reaching out and spreading compassion.

We are excited to distribute these hearts to everyone attending our live events, and through The Guibord Center’s Take Heart Project, you can take the first step by ordering a package of hearts for yourself — now, the power to reach and uplift as many hearts as possible lies in your hands.
