The Breaking of the Fast: If’tar

The Guibord Center is very proud to partner with The Islamic Center of Southern California during the Holy month of Ramadan in the breaking of the fast: If'tar.

Date: Sunday, July 29th.
Place: The Islamic Center located at 434 S. Vermont Avenue, LA 90020.
Parking: street

Time: 6:45 PM. Arrival and greeting
7:00 pm - 7:45 pm A time for dialogue about the meaning of Ramadan and the celebration of If'tar or Breaking of the Fast.
8:00 pm to 8:45 pm Dinner or Breaking of the Fast
8:45 pm to 10 pm: Recitation of the Holy Qur'an and Narrative of the Reading

THE CELEBRATION OF THE IF'TAR DINNER IS A GIFT FROM THE ISLAMIC CENTER TO FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES OF THE GUIBORD CENTER. WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR THE GENEROUS HOSPITALITY OF THE ISLAMIC CENTER. THERE IS NO COST FOR ALL ATTENDEES.

PLEASE NOTE THAT AN RSVP IS REQUIRED.
