Islamic Sacred Texts 101

Islamic Sacred Texts 101 was presented by Jihad Turk, President of Bayan Islamic Graduate School. Jihad is dedicated to Islamic scholarship, religious leadership training, and improving relations between the U.S. Muslim community and other faiths.

He serves as a religious leader at the Islamic Center of Southern California, Los Angeles’ oldest and largest mosque. In addition, Jihad is the West Coast executive council representative for the Islamic Society of North America, the oldest and largest national Muslim organization. Along with serving the Muslim community, Jihad focuses his attention on interfaith work. He has organized many interfaith events, including an annual trip to the Holy Land.
